Car related question

I'd post this is an actual car forum if it was only related to one car, but it isn't. Anyways I was curious if every main car manufactuer had a performance company that designs parts exclusively for their cars (ie. Nissan has Nismo, Dodge and Mopar). I know some of the bigger companies like Nismo... but what about Subaru? Pontiac? Ford? All of the European companies?

STI (Subaru Technica International or something) and Ford Racing. Don't know if Pontiac has one though.

Mitsubishi has Ralliart.......I think.
Mercedes-Benz has AMG........again, I think.
Toyota has Toyota Racing Development or TRD.
Those are the only three I know.

Honda has Mugen and Spoon

Daimler-Chrysler has BRABUS

BMW has Aplina

Alfa Romeo has Autodelta

Audi has MTM

The VAG has Oetenigertryilfdgjfd (However you spell it)

Porsche has RUF

Holden has HSV and CSV

All of these companies are independent of the makers, but they make parts exclusively for the manufacturers cars

Then there's Ralliart, Mazdaspeed, TRD, STI etc.

With Chrysler it used to be Direct Connection, then Mopar Performance. Now I don't know what it is but I bet it's in Germany.

I've seen a few different people say that "SRT" means "Street & Racing Technology", as well as "Street Race Technology". I don't know which is correct, but the idea is there.

Just like how "R/T" stood for "Road & Track"...

Are we talking about official performance divisions, or companies that tune specifically to one manufacturer? I've always thought Spoon was a company that specifically tuned Honda's because they wanted to, but Mugen was officially Honda's performance division. Kinda like Mazda Speed and RE Amemiya?

I guess the "official" ones if there are any.
