Ok I don't know bout ya'll but I love alot of the music that came out in the
90's. So that is why I am posting this. New music from Bush and Pearl Jam is due out later this year. Not to mention new godsmack, and hopefully Limp will put out a better album than the one they just put out. Now if only by some miracle of god can Rage get back together I will be exstatic.

NINE INCH NAILS!! I think they were biggest when they had pretty hate machine, then they became kinda... cult? "With Teeth" they just put out was pretty good, however.

Well, If Rage comes back, sick. If soundgarden comes back, sick. But Audioslave is like a hybrid of the two, and their own thing as well.

Velvet Revolver is Stone Temple Pilots and Guns 'n Roses hybrid, but they don't sound like anything else, just their former selves.

Jane's Addiction made a killer comeback, too.

Audioslave I think Chris Cornell is at his best but the rest of the band was better when they were rage. Nine Inch Nails new album is better than the last one he put The Fragile. I really can't wait for bush and pearl jam though. P.J. says it supposed to be like their older stuff(hopefully)

Alice in Chains is one of my favorite bands, especially from the 90s. Too bad Layne Stanley died a couple of years ago:crying:

My favorite too. They mentioned on a local radio station here about the possibility of a tribute album or concert tour going on at some point soon. Their info was supposedly received from a hush hush Jerry Cantrell who woulnd't elaborate on anything, just that things were in the works for something to do with Alice In Chains. I really hope so.

As for Bush and Pearl Jam, they are has beens and won't make another good album (although I never like PJ).

I agree with you vinny about Velvet Revolver. Nothing else around that sounds like them. They have that definitive classic sound that I believe rock and roll is defined as.

Oh! forgot that The Cure also made a comeback (well, i dunno about 'comeback', but they put out another album) Disintegration is still my favorite album, songs like Love Song* and Fascination Street were awsome!

*I didn't like 311's remake of Love Song. great band and all, but shoulda left that song alone.

Yeah, Jerry Cantrell was going to play at Livestock(3 day concert in fl) but he had to cancell no one knew why at the time but thats when they announced that Layne had died. A few of the bands that were there did some tributes to them.
