I noticed today a little light yellow coloured flUid on the snow where i had parked my car. I assume that it's brake fluid but I could be wrong. My Clutch has been acting up as of late and i wonder if it maybe the slave leaking when i step on the clutch. Does this make any sense to anyone.
I know nothing about cars but I really like my 91 GT. any suggestions would be a great help.

Yes it is very possible that the slave cylinder is leaking and depositing the fluid on the ground. Since it uses hydraulic fluid, usually brake fluid, this would stand to reason that, that is where the fluid is coming from.

Thats what I was thinking. would that affect the performance of my clutch because it's not getting enough hydraulic fluid

I have had this problem before but it was my girlfriends 240 sx and i was driving in Montreal when the Clutch Slave went. Not fun on a bridge with little to no clutch.

You can check the fluid in the brake master cylinder. The hydraulic clutch gets its fluid from the master brake reservoir and is fed by gravity. If it's leaking the brake reservoir will be low on fluid.
