Thinking about buying...

Alright, I've finally worked out my tax shit, sold some stuff, and figured out a way to do this. I'll have about $5000ish in total and these are some of the options I've found. And for anybody who is thinking since I have a new car...My car payment is only $200 a month:grinyes:
Here's option one. He says it's for two cars(tsi, gsx) but I'm not really wanting a 1g: http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=196493956&dealer_id=57485915&car_year=1991&num_records=100&search_type=both&make=MIT&distance=300&model=ECLIP&address=77382&certified=&advanced=&bkms=1139951300635&max_price=&sort_type=priceASC&min_price=&end_year=1999&start_year=1991&isp=y&lang=en&cardist=33
And then here's the one I like more...It's a 98 GST red with only 5k on the rebuild. I have only gotten ahold of him once and haven't really discussed anything about the car. It's kind of expensive but I'm thinking it can be talked down to around 5k. http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=193881106&dealer_id=57294458&car_year=1998&num_records=100&search_type=both&make=MIT&distance=300&model=ECLIP&address=77382&certified=&advanced=&bkms=1139951300635&max_price=&sort_type=priceASC&min_price=&end_year=1999&start_year=1991&isp=y&lang=en&cardist=16
What do ya'll think...

Whatever you get, it should be a AWD. Hows the traction on the SRT-4 ? I see kids do major burn outs with em so I figure its hard to control it.
I tried to do a burn out with my new daily driver MX-3 Mazda and popped the cv half shaft. Hey guys, also in my auto class there is a Talon. Its turbo, didnt see if it was a awd/fwd. I just want to steal that sucker so bad.
Is it just my PC because I cant get to DSMtuners's classifieds. Also, WTF happend with DSMtrader.com I am looking for a car so bad right now and I cant find one good GSX anywhere !!!

my 99 had 153k on it when it got totaled. so 131 isn't bad. IT was just driven alot. My new 97 only has 58k if you wait long enough you will find many with low milage.

Okay...I just uncovered this today: http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=196204974&dealer_id=57464301&car_year=1994&model=ECLIP&num_records=100&bkms=1139982341655&lang=en&isp=y&start_year=1991&certified=&search_type=both&distance=300&make=MIT&min_price=&sort_type=priceASC&address=77382&advanced=&end_year=1999&max_price=&cardist=186
It's has some mods already done(not really wanted buy I guess okay). I'm going to call the guy up tomorrow and see about scheduling something up. Anything major I should look for?? I'm not too familiar what to look for on a gsx drivetrain. Whould it also be beneficial to perform a compression check? Anything else besides the obvious I should look out for. I just don't want a shitty tranny or soon to blow motor...lol. Thanks guys!

Sorry to waste your time on that one. I talked to the guy for a little bit and he ended up being a young, immature, asshole...so I'm just going to take yall's advice and just wait until the perfect(or close to) car comes around. Low miles, good price...:icon16: Thanks for the opinions though:p
