S/C Question

There is an S281 intake manifold i'm looking at buying. I've heard you can set a gt up with an M90 as long as you have that. But i was looking at some pictures under the hood of the S281's and their alternator is sitting more left than a regular gt's and there's also another pulley attached to the block to the right of it the clear the belt. Under my hood, the alt. is smack in the middle of the block and there would be no way to get a belt to a S/C pulley, assuming the damn blower even clears the alt. Plus the elbow that runs from the back of the M90 to the TB is too long to run the stock throttle cable and stuff.
Is this bolt-on swap miracle just a myth or can it be resonably done?

so you have a lower manifold from a saleen. why dont you check around find someone who pulled off their saleen kit for a kenne bell (there are lots) and youll have the rest of the missing pieces. it can be done; the other pulley your talking about is probably the idler. alternator is obviosuly moved because the blower goes there. the brackets are included in the kit, the kb uses a different one where the alternator faces backward to the left. lots of guys swap out series 1 and 2s because they suck compared to twin screw. keep your eyes peeled on these classifieds itll turn up www.corral.net

So saleen makes a bracket for the alt. that moves it over? That's cool, i didn't think about that. I don't have it, i just saw one and was interested. The other pulley isn't the stock idler pulley, i think it's just there to redirect the belt to clear the alt. Well, i guess i would need a kit or a complete take off; i was hoping i wouldn't, but that's still doable. Thanks and that saleen of yours is pimp.

theres a stock idler and then a s/c idler pulley as well for most kits. might redirect the belt too but they are common on s/c applications
thanks for the compliments
