Factory Service Manual Question

I have a friend who has a 1994 Chevy Caprice/Buick Roadmaster B - Body Service Manual. I own a 1995 Buick Roadmaster. My question is: How much of the info in the '94 book is applicable o my '95? He may be selling the book in the future, and if most of the info in these books would be useful for my car, I would tell him I would be interested in buying them from him. I know that GM doesn't change a lot from year to year, and that the '91s to '93s were similar, and that some changes were made for model year '94, and that the '94s to '96s were similar. Does anybody have any ideas if the info in the book would apply to my car enough to make the offer to him? Thanks.

I don't know anything about a Buick Roadmaster, but the 94-96 model Caprice should be similar and the 94-95 model Caprice should be very similar. Other than the minor change of the mirrors, there is really no difference between 94 and 95 models; however, there are several differences between 94 and 96 and 95 and 96. Here is a quick comparison:

94 and 95 model
OBD I
10:1 compression ratio

96 model
OBD II
10.5:1 compression ratio
