HICAS Light On = Problem??

Hi all
I have just bought a 93 Skyline GTS-T R32 from a caryard. When driving on the highway, the HICAS light in the dash lights up and stays on until I am off the highway. I rang the car dealer when this first happened and he said it is an indicator light showing that the HICAS is in use.
I am worried that it is a warning light, and need to find out so that if something is wrong, they can fix it (so I don't have to pay later!).
The car drives fine, handles great - does not appear to be anything wrong but the light is coming on...
I havent checked the power steering fluid yet, where is it located?? It also appears to have the factory steering wheel in it.
Thanks
Natalie
