My F1 1:18s

Hi guys:
I'm new to the forum, but love F1s. I have 3 1:18s, and I've tweaked them just a little.

The regular F1. I added ultrasuede to the top of the dashboard, and CF to the rails between the seats.

For the LM, I converted the interior from the race interior and dash it came with to a 3-seater with a more conventional dash. I made seats for the passengers, modded the dash, and covered the seats and dash top in ultrasuede, and the rest in CF.

For the longtail, I've never seen the interior of one except for that small B&W one from the Driving Ambition book. So I did it as I'd want it to be. I made passenger seats, modded the dash, covered the whole interior in ultrasuede, and made red inserts for the seats.

Not bad Erik, i think a short-back-and-sides trim on the suede on the dash may be in order (:wink:), apart from that it all looks fairly good

I like it when people convert the Historic LM's to Black.

Would like to see some of those? or a 1:12 LM?

Seems like only Thorst would probably have done this, His models are outstanding. :smokin:

Interesting how "short" fibers end up looking wooly in small scale.

"A" for effort! This certainly gives me an idea to do one of mine.
