dashboard swap

Has anyone tryed to swap the newer dashboard on a cherokee in for the older version. i couldn't imagine that it would be to hard to fit unless the heater vents are in different places and im sure it might be a little tricky with the heater/ac controls but i was just curious if anyone else might have tryed it or had some imput thanks much

They are 2 different sizes, would not fit. well, it would, but you will have a gap.
