Your favorite beat?

We've all got those few songs with the kickass music we like. You may not even like the song, but you just like the music for some reason. My fav by far is the beat from Drinkin Song by Lil Wyte. Staying away from rap, I like the music from Rearanged by Limp Bizkit. What's your fav. beat?

gotta say dre beats keep in my head forever. but to my liking, there are too many to name. i guess, umm... well, Santeria by Sublime (cuz the solo is my cell phone ring) and umm, OOH! Fade to Black: Metallica! i mean, they're not my 'favorite' per say, just some i could think up of real quick. i've got millions of em.

one of my favorite beats would be the song "Not My Job" by Mac Dre. im pretty sure it makes my brain crank out the "Happy" chemical in mass quantities. even if you dont like rap i suggest you try that song out.

Do you mean beat as in "rap" beat, like a constant pulse? Or beat as in the measure of a musial rhythm?

One can only assume that he's referring to "beats" in a literal term, as in drums, drum loops, tempos, etc. (since there are numerous "your favorite song" threads around.)

Lately I've been really into Pizzicato 5 -- some of the quirkiest and most interesting beats I've come across (tons of awesome breakbeats and tempo shifts -- I guess I would call it a really intelligent lounge/dance/pop fusion.)

Anything with lots of double bass (IE most Cryptopsy)=teh metal \m/\m/
