Well I have a list of problems and I am looking for a list of answers. I have a 1999 1500 5.3 4wd with 90,000 miles. Here we go.

1) I have got a P0453 Code for Evap Fuel Pressure Sensor High. I recently had a P0446 and took care of that. It was full of mud and i cleaned it all out. I also replaced my fuel pump assembly and blew out all the EVAP lines. The charcoal canister had dirt in it but i couldnt get much out by tapping it.

2) My heater sticks on high heat if it turned up while the truck is warming up. Once the truck is warm i roast cuz it wont turn down any.

3) I get about 13 MPG with a Airaid throttle body spacer, K&N drop in air filter, new iridium plugs, autolite professional wires, fuel pressure regulator, and a flowmaster 50 delta flow muffler. This is all highway miles with a very light granny foot, no 4wd driving.

4)I replaced my front pinion seal just a few days ago and I am wondering a few things. How tight do i get the nut, do you have to rtv the splines so it doesnt leak, can it be tightened to much and if so what kind of problems can i have?

5) Last but not least my headlights are gay and like to go out every now and then for a quick second. I just replaced my battery to see if it will help any and so far so good but does anyone else have this problem and what is the reason for it?

So yeah any help would be awsome cuz im starting to hate my truck just like i did with my gay jetta.

I'll chime in here on the pinion seal, the right way to do this remove the wheels make sure there is no binding in the brake mechanism, get an in/lb torque wrench on the pinion bolt check the torque required to rotate the pinion flange, replace the seal, retighten the bolt slowly after it mates up till you get back to the original torque then titen it very slowly til the torque to rotate the pinion is 3-5 in/lbs more than the original reading. This assumes the rear end is not noisey to begin with.

There was a recent post about the iridium plugs. You may want to look it up.
