Im trying to help my 17 old son with his camaro. Hes found a set of after market wheels which are the proper bolt pattern and they are 16 inch. The question I have what is the proper backspacing needed to make these wheels work and what size tires would work for them? I know the front and the rear backspacing is different or am I mis informed? I forgot to mention the wheels are 16 x 8.
Thanks for any and all help.

the offset for stock rims is 0mm. you can use spacers to use rims with more offset. how wide are the rims?

then 245 is the widest you can go safely. 225 is the smallest.

what should the offset be from the back of the hub to the inner lip of the rim I just want to make sure these wheels are going to fit the way they are suppose to fit.
