The wipers don't come on at all. I checked the fuse and it was okay. I then replaced the wiper motor but I still get nada. I don't know which direction to look now so any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a well known problem. Depending on your vin it could be covered under recall (stop by any dealership, they will run your vin and fix any recalled parts free of charge). The logic board attached to the motor (not the motor itself) needs to either A. Be replaced, or B. Pulled and all solder joints resoldered.

They only seem to have a recall on years before 98. It is a really simple fix, There is just a little circuit board you need to replace. I replace mine a while ago, but i think i remember it being pretty cheap and quick fix.

Unsafehaven is right. I changed my circuit board on my 98 Sonoma without even taking the wiper motor off the truck. It had 3 torx screws, to remove the cover, and then you gently pry the board and connector out of the motor housing. The replacement board was less than $30 at my local supply. Just press the new board into the housing, put the cover on with the 3 screws, and reconnect the harness and you're done.
Good luck.
