Just wanted some opinion's on what you think my car could run with these mods:
Holley AFPR
Airfoil
Freemods (Gutted Airbox, Throttle Body Bypass, AC Delete, Cat Delete)
Full Exhuast (Edelbrock TES Headers, Blowmaster Catback)
Underdrive Pullies
Kumho 712 Supra Tires
LS1 Driveshaft
4th gen rear w/auburn posi and 4.11's
B&M Megashifter (not sure if that will help that much, but damn did i need a new shifter!)
Tokico Shocks
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
Spohn Subframe Connectors
Spohn Wonderbar
Spohn Adj. Panhard
A new fuel filter (boy did i need that)
Poly. Bushing Kit
New Steering Components
And thats pretty much all that comes to mind right now. I really wanted to swap in an LT1 cam, but the one thing thats preventing me is the tune. I don't know how to tune, let alone know a place that would be able to tune it for me. I've heard of the mail order from tbichips/tpichips.com, but i've heard from some people it can be a gamble. I know the cam would a give a significant increase in performance with some of the mods above, but i need a tune aswell. Would tpichips.com help me out at all? Or would there be others ways for me to get it tuned if i were to install cam?

i'm guessing with traction, high 13 low 14 range.

Are you serious? High 13's with cam, right? How would it be without cam?

I would say low - mid 13's.

Also I probably have mentioned it already but I highly recommend www.pcmforless.com (http://www.pcmforless.com)

i say mid-low 14's...cause its only a 305 right...and do you have any kind of tuning done?
Link85x

That's what i was figuring without cam and tuning, somewhere in the 14's. Yeah, tcfco, it's the 305.

cool...but if you throw some tuning on there....you might see the 13's...tuning did alot for my car and it was just the basic chip from tbichips.com

Yes it is a TPI. I just emailed dude at pcmforless to see what he can do. I think i'm really about to do this now. They seem really good at what they do. Also, Dave got his pcm tuned there, so it seems all good to go.

I can't see you not being able to get into the 13's with the mods listed and a LT1 cam with a custom tune. Also, I have dealt with Bryan from pcmforless alot. Infact a few members from here have used them. Such as Cuda , Dave and a couple others that are slipping the mind now.

Also, do yourself a huge favor and get some aftermarket runners. They make a huge difference.

yup, that's why i said "with traction"

Well, hopefully with all the suspension mods, traction isn't an issue, but well see soon enough. I'm talking (emailing) with the guy from pcmforless right now. It's looking good for the cam swap.

your suspension mods won't mean squat without drag radials or slicks.

How much lower are the pro-kits than the iroc springs? You think maybe some LCA's and maybe relocation brackets might help you out with traction?

and those kuhmos are pretty shitty... i dont think you will pull any better then a 2.0 or 1.9 at best... every .5 off your 60 ft is a second off you 1/4 mile time
so you run a 14.0 with a 2.1 60ft
next run you bust a 1.6 60ft... well you do the math

I figured the much, they were only $90 bucks a tire, but way better than some 18 yr. old tires. I wanted to get some bfg dr's but they were almost $200 a tire, way too much for right now. To be honest, i'd be satisfied if i could hit 14's flat. That would be great. I was hoping to get outta the 15's, that is my goal.

In the future, i'll invest into some dr's. But for now, my car will enjoy some new tread. My other tires looked like Mr. Clean...
