So, my 700R4 was recently rebuilt...It seems like they did a crappy job :banghead: they took a whole month to fix the damn thing and i know they didnt take it off, they just jacked the front end up and pulled off the valve body, etc. It has a leak above the trans pan somewhere and i have no idea where it is. does anyone have any ideas? -_-' i cant see where its leaking from. (i recently filled the fluid level because it was low and it was shifting weird..)

im pretty sure i didnt overfill it. it works really good now, shifting wise but it leaks!! >: (

What did they charge you for that job? Honestly, it could be a couple things. Probably the speedo cable connection but possibly one of the various sensors. Before chasing that though, I would get it rebuilt properly by the people who had it apart first.

yeah..im thinking of taking it back, i have a 1 year warranty on it. they're eithier doing a crappy job or im abusing it, because one or two months after they fixed it the first time, i (quoting them) "snapped my torque convertor" (i dont know how thats possible) on the freeway. I had them rebuild it again..(they took a friggin month) and now its acting up again, i check fluid level, its low, i fill it up..and when i drive away/come back, i find fluid allover the place.. :banghead:

its from the passenger side, its dripping down the transmission pan but its starting from something above it...

could be something as simple as the dip stick o-ring seal.
