Has anyone ever used one of these liquid sealants for blown Head gaskets? I was wondering about them. I have a 1990 Accord LX that overheats after about 15 or 20 minutes of driving. Theres no water in the oil pan and no Antifreeze leaking.
I checked out this website for Steel Seal. It looked ok, but I don't know anyone that has used it or any other sealants.

Does anyone have any info on this or any other products? Thanks

If you are not leaking any water/anti-freeze just what do you need to seal.

Thermostat, plugged radiator, waterpump. would be good places to start as your cause of your overheating.

I avoid these miracle fixes. unless I am stuck in BF egypt.

Thanks for the replies. As you can tell, I'm not a mechanic. I just wanted some expert opinion on these chemical fixes.
I was told it was a Head Gasket problem, but I didn't think so. I've blown gaskets before and there is usually a major leak. I am getting a second opinion today. Thanks again
