I use to live in southern Cali, trust me. Florida has nothing on that weather. If anything just as soon as I build up a small fortune I am going back there,

Its called a truck. Invest in one. Even a beater just for winter.

Having a truck don't mean shit when the streets are covered in ICe.

And one of the three vehicles is a truck and a beater at that.

eh...4x4 helps in icy conditions alot of the times. Still beter than 2 wheel.

Would having a 4x4 sticker on the truck help or do you actually gotta have the other differential to make it better..?

4x4 didn't help me on ice, slid right into a guardrail.

That's like asking if trying to tred water with 400 pounds tied to your feet is easier than 600 pounds. You're going down either way.

Damn i feel sorry for u guys, it's freaking winter over here and it's about 85* right now. when it hits anything below 75* we consider that cold over here in los angeles.

Nate355RS

four wheels spinning in reverse helps stop on ice, kind of. Also if you tap the brakes and your tires lock up all you have to do is touch the gas and you can get them all spinning again. I'm a little bias but I still say you can't stop a jeep and if you bang one up and it's no big deal, they're cheap and they're made to be abused

I know what he's talking about, I'm a hard ass when it comes to the weather. Whatever it is BRING IT ON!!! And I don't care what I wear unless I know i'm going to be somewhere freezing and I'm staying there. When I have no control over the situation, I toughen up.

an s10/ranger doesn't count as being a truck lol ... I've driven enough vehicles on ice (I do live in Michigan) I think I could tell you a thing or 2..... 4wd and 4wd auto still give you more traction and help to keep the vehicle more straight on ice.... but like i said, when stopping your still in the same boat as every other vehicle....
