I was just curious.....I see all these marks with a shifter change, just wondering how to go about it??

Do you mean the actual gear selector or do you mean like a shift kit? If you mean a shift kit you can try doing a jmod, I haven't done it myself but you can check this link out

Well, I was talking about just the shifter knob, but I'm always open to unique mods, do you have the link?

http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/index.html# click on jerry's mod , I haven't seen any mods on the shifter knobs for a Mark VIII. Personally I like the original one and would probably find an aftermarket shifter knob to be cheesy in a Mark VIII, but that is mypreference

Actually I was thinking of just making a ball shaped shifter and sew the old leather around it?
