Strage Starting Problem

Okay, I got a 96' S10 2.2 4banger..5speed.

The thing will not start... at all... you turn the key and all teh dash lights and headlights/wipers/radio/etc all work. No clicking nosies to indicate the starter is shot.

I tried push starting it... and it didn't work.. i do not have the maunal so i don't know if you can push start it...

I'm thinking the starter or does this have the idoit switch on the clutch? (You have to have the clutch pushed in to start switch).

If so, how can i hot wire the switch bypass (because i know to put the clutch in)... or is there a way to tell if its the starter...

if you dont hear a clicking noise its probably the starter solinoid.
