In a Long Progress: 06 Stang

I got my Mustang today and got to work on it right away. I cut out the lower grille parts, made a targa top, and took some pics.

1.) 2-toned paint job= orange mist, metallic black
2.) Quarter window scoops on the way
3.) Aluminum Mr.Model wheels
4.) Silver Steel grille

Got the base coat on, Orange Mist. Probably going to put one more coat on.
I got rid of the cowl hood, another is on the way. Do you guys think I should two-tone it with metallic black? I probably will try to but just wanted to see what you guys thought.

i think your plans for it sound cool. Just do what you initially thought would be cool and see how it comes out!

Yeah it was crazing but I managed to get it out with a heavy coat of orange. Now on to the two tone metallic black. Here's a pic.
Any suggestions?

Here's some pics of the body with the black on. Messed the other side up though , gonna have to sand a little and repaint it (other side).
This was my first attempt at a two tone and I'm sort of happy with the results. Hopefully I didn't ruin the other side.

On which photo do you see crazing? If it's the second then that's the side I got to fix. If you see it on both then I don't know what you see...maybe because I havn't cleared it yet?

I managed to fix the other side to the best of my ability today and I got some outside pics of the body with clearcoat.
Need to touch up a little bit

Here are some mock-up pics with the wheels, spoiler, quarter window scoops, and...
THE NEW HOOD... I definitely like it better than the old cowl hood.
As for the interior, I havn't started it yet and would like some ideas. I was thinking about just making it black?

I think a two-tone cool would be nice, as I think the Mustang interior doesn't look good in monotone. Here are some pictures of the Mustang I did; I hand painted the entire thing, and I think it looks really good.

You can see how the colored inserts kinda break up the interior mundaneness.

Here are a few teasers just to show you that I'm still working on this project. Decided to go with charcoal interior. Still gotta glue tail lights, mirrors, wheels, etc. What do you think?
