I have a 95 4cyl. with auto. I purchased a JDM transmission that I thought was for a 95-97. I now find out it is out of an 89. 3 questions: 1) Is there any difference between the 89 and the 95? 2) Is there a difference between 3cyl & 4cyl with the trans and if so, how do I know if this trans is out of a 4cyl? 3) I want to change the timing belt at the same time I replace the trans. Is it easier to pull motor & trans as one? Thanks, Carl

I've seen most JDM engines on the net listed as 89-95. I'd like to know how this is possible, since the 89's to 92's I see at the wreckers look very differant from my 95' and yet, my friend's 96' looks exactly like mine. Hopefully somebody out there knows for sure.
As far as pulling the engine, I understand it easier to yank the engine with trani connected. Take them apart the bell housing after you get them out.
