trouble codes P1350 & P1375

1996 Aurora SES light came on after trouble starting and backfiring. Scaner showed both codes- P1350, P1375.
P1350 = Bad ecm or ignition control module.
P1375 = Bad crank shaft or cam out of alignment.
Q 1- is there a way to determine which module is bad?
Q 2- Would P1350 cause P1375 to register?
