Just bought a 95 3000gt VR-4 and the engine went out at 77,000 while Im replacing the engine. does anyone know where to get the transmission rebuilt or somwhere I can send it out? I really dont want to put an engine in and lose a gear 20,000 miles down the road.

Well you can check Kormex for parts if you plan to do the work yourself. Or you can check out www.3si.org/forum and check out the localized forum in your geographical area. There you can find either a good shop in the area or a member that would be willing to do the work for you.

Let me save you some time.
I've been hearing nothing but bad things about Kormex and I wouldn't use them. I've been hearing nothing but spectacular things about Jacks Transmission (http://www.jackstransmissions.com/index.php?osCsid=69ea08f33ceb114f83038ab5dca9e164) . I would send it to them. That's where mine is going.
