well anyway, a few days ago i lost my main set of keys and i was using my spare set, and well last night when playing football with a couple of friends in the snow i lost the spare set :( i searched the area for like 2 hours in freezing cold looking for keys the snow started coming down even harder and i just gave up looking and got a ride home, but now i have no keys and i dont know wdf to do.

could i get a lock smith to make me a key (its not a camaro), i dont have any kind of secruity shit in my keys they are just metal, but anyway, could a lock smith even make a key for my car?

ty, know of any other ways, today is sunday no dealers are opened, and i dont have the vin number to my car, the car is kinda far and i dont have it written down.

anyway, if i do that how long will i have to wait for the key(s), can i get in with in a couple of hours? or will they have to send away for it?

with the exception of today being sunday thats the only trouble. mine have always been done right there..they have never had to send anything off. and as far as your vin if you have an insurance card with you or you policy your vin number is on there

If you or someone you know has a metal detector you could search the area that you were playing in and maybe find the keys under the snow.

yeah a metal detector would help a lot.

Also the dealer cut my keys in about 10 minutes for my 4th gen camaro. It had one of those chips in it too.

lol, well i got my keys, and also where we was playing there was garbage all over the f-ing place it (the metal detector) would just keep going off for nothing, everytime we went down we got back up and kicked a peice of garbage off the field area.

two new ones from the dealer!?!?!?

jesus. I would never buy more keys from the dealer than I had to. It was like 20 bucks to have them cut me two keys. I can't get another ignition made because it has a chip on it but I am having a door key cut for $1.25 at a hardware store my brother works at. (they cut the keys by hand too so they work a lot better than machine made keys)
