ok guys heres the deal i have 94 jetta 3 was working great then the other day light came on ran to shop got it scan code 2113 cam position sensor guy said might be distributor on the way out got that replaced still coding that i have alldata.com so i know code and everything tryed reseting nothing light still comes on but heres the kicker after the shot put new distributor on electrical all f#@k up tac goes cazy say i am doning 6000 rpm at 20 mpr e-brack make the whole thing go off when disengaged have to take out switch so i can see speed cleaned switch nothing but nothing was done but distributor help please !!!!!!!!

if the person took the distributor out and the intermediate shaft moved a tooth you can get a code for cam sensor renge performance. Also i have seen this code for 2.0 with a loose worn t-belt causing too much slack and actually retarding the timing soo much the ecm picks it up as bad cam sensor.
