Idle Surge

Recently after starting my car it had a horrible idle surge. Went all the way to 6000 rpm. I changed the ignition coil wire and it seems to work. DO u think that this was the problem or will this occur again and is it the ICV?

You'll have to wait and see if it repeats itself.
