fairly simple thread starter. everyone has heard of the dead baby jokes, hellen keller jokes, and jesus jokes. if not look them up. what do you think of them?
but bottom line in this no fighting. i dont want to see anyone giving hell to anyone else for thier answer.

I think some are funny, but others are just plain mean.

These jokes are pretty juvenille, you know, like the silly jokes you thought were funny as a kid.
Once you get over the initial shock/humour, they are not so funny because they pretty much are all the same.

i don't know, as long as the people you tell them to won't get offended i think it's ok. but you need to know the limits, you don't go up to a random black guy and say something like "What are 3 things a black guy can't get? A fat lip, a black eye, and a job hahaha" but if the person you're saying it to isn't offended by that stuff, then it's ok.
like at my school, there are like 6 black people, i know who i can say certain things to, like one guy i make the most racist jokes to but we both get a good laugh out of them, if i said the same thing to a certain other person, i know i'd get punched. it's all about context. oh and the hellen kellar jokes are hillarious, i mean what's the problem, she's never going to hear them. HAHAHAHA.
the dead babies are funny sometimes, other times they're just offensive. it depends on what kind of a mood im in. if we've just been telling a bunch of jokes and everyone's laughing, then someone tell s one of those, usually it'll start another fit of laughter, but if it's just out of nowhere, it's not funny.
but some jokes could be taken offensively, like i'm catholic, i could take offense to the jesus jokes but i don't. i think it's good to have a laugh at your own expense sometimes. or stereotypes, like i don't mind french jokes, canadian jokes etc. because everyone does something rediculous and has their own stereotypes, how can you accept everyone if you can't talk, or joke, about yourself. there are however some boundaries that should never be crossed. like no one should make jokes about 911, or tragedies like that. it's just too much, people died, lives were destroyed, etc.

they were funny when i was in 6th grade. they weren't even that funny so much as they're kind of shocking that someone would even think about shit like that.
