Hi,
I have what I would call a stain on my windscreen which i cannot remove at all. I have tried windex, automotive glass cleaner stuff, methylated spirits, kerosene using soft towel, paper towels and newspapers. I even tried some stuff i have for removing bugs off the bumper! lol nothing gets rid of it.
What do you guys recommend i try next? I do not know what causes it, but it effects the blades cleaning ability cause when the blades run over the stain it doesn't move the water and just sort spreads it out a little. it sucks, i want crystal clear windscreen again! :banghead:
Any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!
I will even try to get a photo of the stain if it will come out on a digital pic..

Did you ever get that stain out? I am new to the forum, and just reading posts, so I didnt see this until now.
Anyway, if it is a discoloration-type of stain, have you tried acetone? I have found that acetone eats everything it touches, just dont get it near the paint, but it will not hurt the glass. If it is some type of material on the glass, try 00 steel wool, or even a razor-blade scraper.
Good Luck
