Where does the antenna plug into the radio on the 2000 Ford Taurus? Appreciate anyone who can help out.

The back of the audio unit(radio).

When I removed the audio unit, there was no antenna cable. Any other ideas?

The Rear Control Unit (RCU) is where the antenna plugs in on your Taurus. The RCU is located in the rear of the car. Assuming your Taurus is not a wagon, the RCU will be located in the trunk on the left side (as you are standing behind your car, looking into the trunk) behind the trunk liner. You'll need to remove a few plastic rivets to get the liner free, then pull the liner out of the way to access the antenna and RCU. If your Taurus has a power antenna, you'll need to remove the RCU to access the mounts for the power antenna motor if you are trying to remove the antenna motor for some reason.
May I inquire as to why you need to locate the antenna cable?

I'm trying to install an after market CD changer, and the FM modulator has to be plugged into the antenna.

Then having the RCU in the trunk should make easy work of the changer install! Unless you were planning to mount the changer in the passenger compartment somewhere.

Yeah, that was the plan originally, but now that I know where it's at, I can figure something out. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
