At times, I will be driving down the road and my car will just shut off. Nothing is wrong with my engine and the computer doesn't pick up any problems. My car will eventually start up again and drive well for a while and then it will just shut off! I have had it checked over by many mechanics, who have tried to find something wrong with it- they all seem to agree that it is some sort of electrical malfunction but can't determine how to fix it. Have you ever heard of this before with the Z24s?

Have you ever heard of this before with the Z24s? Does everything go dead? Maybe a bad ground . Computer does not pick up any problems, So then you have had it checked for codes I would guess. Does it crank over and start right up or is it hard to re start?

Whenever it does this, everything goes dead, including the lights on the dash. When I try to restart it, nothing happens. After an undetermined amount of time, it will start up again and drive fine. Last time, however, the mechanic said when it turned over for him the lights started flashing and the gauges started bouncing up and down.
