3000 gt sl transmission problem?

i just bought a 3000 gt sl and it is awesome, the only problem i have is when it up shifts from second to third the engine sorta revs up a little before shifting..,sometimes it does this and sometimes it don't and its only from second to third, am i going to have to get ready for a transmission over haul or is it just something simple?

manual or automatic? what year model? please provide more information to help diagnose the problem.

a bit confused. so when the engine revs a bit more, are you still applying the gas? does it ever feel like it won't shift into 3rd? send a PM to HotShot8972; he is very experienced with the automatic transmissions.

yes that is correct it revs right when it is shifting from 2nd to 3rd...this is with normal excelleration,...ill try HotShot8972 and see what he has to say
