I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these brands, I want to use some specifically-for-honda parts but want to use the best reccomended as i dont have the money to try them all out.

I was also interested in Skunk2 and anyone who's heard good or bad on that could lemme know too!

Mugen and Spoon are good companies, but they are entirely too expensive. Mugen was actually started by the son; of the owner of Honda. Any car that is going to produced, Mugen gets a car before full production even starts (so they are one of the first companies to come out with performance parts for the new car). Spoon uses a lot of Honda parts. They sell Honda blocks that they balance and blueprinted, they have their cams made by Honda (with Spoon's own specs). Like I said before though, they are expensive. For some reason both companies don't want to come out big in the US. If they did, they could make a lot of $ without such high prices.

The only complaint I remember reading about Skunk2, was their valves. Seen quite a few threads over at honda-tech about them braking.

Honestly, just do research for every part you want to buy. Just because something is made by a reputable company, doesn't mean there isn't a similar products that gives better gains and is just as reliable.
