rear speaker replacement

I have looked all over this forum and found great tutorials, but none of which helped me with it. I am trying to replace my back 6X9's, i got the 2 bolts that hold the bottom of the seat down out with no problem. the bottoms lifts away freely, but the top is still snagged on something. I cannot find the bolts or anything holding it down from within the trunk. all i got out of that was a sore tail bone by hitting the truck latch on the way out. so if anyone knows exactly where they are located, or even feels like taking a pic of the bolts will greatly be helpful. I have tryed looking on other sites but only to find the vague location of the bolts. sorry to sound dumb, but this has been boggling me for the whole afternoon. Thanks!

From inside the car grab the rear of the seat and lift straight up, there are clips that need to be released. When it is free remove seat, you then have access to the deck carpeting, the speaker covers and deck come out. If you work it easily you can manuever the deck lid out without removing the trim. The speakers are then accessable to you. I don't have any pics but this set of instructions worked for me. Any problems let me know. Be careful removing the deck lid, if you bend it to much it can crack.

Missed the first part. After removing the base of the seat, you need to remove the seat belt bolts and there are two bolts for the seat back. One on each side of the seat. Then continue with the first post of mine.

thanks buddy, i was out there today and already had the seat part out, and the 2 bottom bolts out of the back rest. then i just got my big self in the back and pulled the whole seat up and out, and it came out. i had to only remove 2 little bolts at the bottom of the seat. the rest went smooth. got the new pioneer speakers installed, and WOW they sound so much better. the seat belt bolts were what was confusing me, i never undid anything with the seat belts and it came out fine. i dunno. everything is back the way it was. but thanks for your help!

No prob. The seat belt bolts were mentioned in a few of the posts that I read about removing the seat so I added them to mine too, in case it was necessary.
