What valve srping tool to use?

On my 2g head what tool do you use for the valve spring removal?

I got one for over head valve but will not work.
It has a handle on top that you screw down.
Do i need the c-clamp type?

the ones on the market are too big for our heads, you have to make your own, the one that scottsee listed.
