Car won't start? because of new head unit?

Ok, i have a 95 eclipse GS. Last night I installed a clarion in dash dvd player. I never fully started the car last night, and when i went to start it this morning....it wouldnt! It turns over, and if i press on the gas it will start, but once it is started i have to keep my foot on the gas....if i take my foot off the gas at all it dies right away. Any ideas on what the problem is??

have you done anything else to it recently, like engine work? it sounds like your idle is all screwed up. check the connection on the IAC (idle air control)

i havent done any work with the engine recently...I will check that though. thanks

have you had any trouble with it running lately? or did it just start when you installed the new head unit??
