gidday peoples
i am currently working away on a provance moulage 1/43 scale BMW v12 LMR, and am pretty much stuck at the wheels, i see the pics they giv you (average at teh best of times) and am just looking for clarification of what shoudl happen.
i have turned alumnium section, then a resin part that goes in to that, and then there is the photoetch part, there is also a part that looks like it is a template or a pattern that it should be bent to.. but then it doesnt really fit nice.. so i am sorta stuck.

OK, these are pretty common in PM kits, and I think you've pretty much sussed wwhat you need to do. Cut the etched part from the fret and cleen it up. The you should have male and female resin parts in the box. Press the etched part betwean the two (use quite alot of preasure but don't twist!), and hey presto you should have a nicelly shaped insert. You could try annealling the metal first so it bends easier but I usually don't bother.
