questions about axels

i have a 91 crx si, stock engine and tranny. My axels are shit. my freind has an 89 DX hatch that he is swapping a b16 into his car. He says i can have his axels since he dont need them anymore.. Will they fit in my car with no problems. Also, i am going to be hopefully swapping a b16 into my car in the next few months,hopefully. i also need new springs, struts, brakes, i know i need alot of stuff. i dont want to lower my car much but want sportier springs. I know the b16 weighs more so i want a good set of springs that i can use now but wont have to change later. I am going with tokico blue struts.
For the brakes, i figured an integra master. if there is a better replacement that needs very mods,please let me know. For rotors..... any ideas...please.

as long as its a dx and not a std the axles should work fine.

For the springs, you'll want something with a higher spring rate to handle the extra weight of the motor, and since you don't want to drop it, i'd go with a set of eibachs.

what if it is an std? what tranny would it have. I think it had a 4 speed.

Just make sure you do your homework on the engine. Other than that it seems like you will be fine :)

std = standard. and if you have a 4 speed thats what it is. which means you can't use dx or si axles.

as for the springs, if you have a higher spring rate with the stock motor in it, its gonna feel kinda bouncy.

also check out the H&R OE springs very mild drop (like .75") and H&R are one of the best spring MFG out there.
