In dash DVD in 05?

I'm very close to picking up a Kenwood DDX7017 in dash DVD unit. It's a double DIN sized chassis, and I've been told by a very reputable installer that it can be made to fit. Has anyone else tried to accomplish this? I know about the Metra chime kit I'll need, I'm more curious about the actual fit in the dash, and what's I'll need to modify to make it fit.
