need help

I put a 1ggte in my wifes 88 supra that had a 7mgte that lost a rod.Ive only had to change a few plugs and a few sensors,The only thing that I dont know about is will the ecu read the distributor? if not will the ecu from the 1ggte work with the 7mgte harness,or can I get a ecu from a 7mge to work, I know that the 1ggte and the 7mgte have the same pins,26,16,22 please help

So, your 1GGTE didn't come with an engine harness and ECU? You need the proper harness and ecu to make things work. If you want to convert the 7M harness you will need to find a pin out diagram for the 7MGTE and the 1GGTE. Then you will have to reconfugure the harness so that the right wires go to the right pins. Good luck with that. I would just use the proper harness and ecu to begin with.
