1999 Camry Le

I have corrosion on my battery terminal and someone on the website suggested baking soda and water so does anyone know how much of this stuff to use.
Do I remove the battery from the car before doing the cleanup

Rinse off the top of the battery and the terminals/clamps. Make a thick slurry of baking soda in water and brush some on the terminals (without taking the battery out of the car). Let it sit for 5 min or so and rinse it off with water. Repeat until it doesn't foam much anymore. Then rinse off the battery terminals and top and holder and everything underneath and around the battery. Let the top of the battery and terminals dry and then spray some spray corrosion inhibitor on the terminals/clamps and you're done. You can put some of the soda slurry on the battery holder and other parts in the area that contact the battery and get the acid off of them also. Just rinse everything off well after you're done.
