3000gt is great

why is the 3000gt great? this is a question i have ask myself. i like to judge cars in two catagories. The first is performance(always comes first). The second is looks.(also very important) The 3000gt is great performance wise because of the twin turbos and the base and sl are close to a car i hate a 90's stang gt. In looks i will probally be shot down for saying this but it resembles my all time favorite car the correvette. The similarity is there and you can't get past it. the 3gt has the lines of a vette.(i'm not saying they copied it i just say it looks like a vette in my eyes) This is a good thing because in my mind the vette is the best car of all time. I also like the functionality of the 3gt. Every thing that makes look good is there for a reason. I think i should clearfy what style vette it looks like. i belive it looks like a c4 vette. I belive the 3gt is faster that the early non ZR1 vettes which is a plus. This is a huge complement because my dad had a 86 vette and most of my earliest memories were that vette and watching my dad and his employees work in his garage. That is my opinion and know i whant yours. Why is the 3000gt vr4 so great.

its great because of the power and looks, looks more than anything

looks nothing like a corvette to me though, looks more like a testarrosa in my eyes

i actually think its closest counterpart (looks wise) is the late model (mid-90s to 2002) firebird/camaro (i believe its called the F-body?)

not trying to hate on the vette, just voicing my opinion, but i dont think its looks are anything special. the only year that looks good (besides the early 70s style) is the brand new one and i think the front end is a total ripoff of the new viper; hood intake, lights, mouth...:2cents:

Well I was actually going to say they suck, because they are always broken, expensive and heavy. By far the most expensive 3800lb paperweight on the block. Plus everybody knows AWD sucks and makes your car slow, our turbos are the size of tennis balls, and the LS1 is unbeatable.
