2003 1500 4wd heater problem

the heater does not work, does not blow hot air, help!

Are both heater hoses going into and out of the heater core hot when the truck is at operating tempature? If the inlet hose is hot and the outlet hose is cold or just warm then the heater core is pluged, you can try back flushing it or replace it. If your thermostat is stuck open then the heater would not get very hot. I don't remember if this model has a heater control valve if it does see if it is opening to allow flow into the heater core.

having the same problem with mine but its a 92. the inlet hose is hot but the outlet hose is cold. i replaced the heater core but still the same thing. new radiator cap and thermastat. i flushed the coolant system and made sure it was topped off. im stumped too. :banghead:
