Supra help.

My buddy is looking to get s an MKIII Supra. We've look high and low, still not able to find (they are definitely rare indeed) anything. We live in Massachusetts. Are they're any website out there where we could look for one? Also, i believe that years 89-92 had a different style of taillights from 86.5-88. Would it be possible to just bolt up some tail lights from a later MKIII to an early one? Thanks in advance.

Its possible to swap the tail lights, I think you may have to drill two holes but that may have been for something else I was thinking of. You should just keep looking, youll eventually turn up a real good deal from someone. Alot of people undervalue these cars.

89+ had many changes, front bumper, taillights, trim, interior parts, it's all been covered here and other supra forums many many times so it shouldn't be hard to find. Can't find a MKIII Supra??? Rare?? The only rare MKIII's are ones that have great bodies, good reliable running engines, non-leaking targa tops, working taillight failure relays, straight lips, a whole exhaust, and no duck tape. That alone rules out about 95% of MKIII's in the United States. :cwm27: This might help,

You should have no trouble finding a good turbo Supra for around $3K if you keep looking.

We found one in NH for about $2500. It's in really good shape too. Undercarriage has no rust, body has no dings and paint is alright. My friend is psyched about having. Told him to give it all the TLC that it deserves. Thanks guys.
