Hey I am having my Fidanza Flywheel and Centerforce Stage 2 Clutch put in. The mechanic just called me and told me he is having problems putting the clutch in. Can someone who has had this clutch put in tell me if you had the same problems with getting it installed? How is it working now?

Well I didn't get any replys so here is an update. My mechanic finally got everything done and go both items put in correctly. WOW what a difference in the way it feels. I know I have to break it in though so I will not get on it for a while. They say to allow about 500 miles to break it in.
What next? I want more power without spending the money on a turbo system.
And of coarse I have to get my sound system going....lol Stock just won't cut it. Well everything is stock except the deck. I have a nice Kenwood deck.

as far as problems go, there is supposedly a pin that needs pulled that you can only get to with a screwdriver more than a foot long
they kept my car all weekend b/c of that, they figured it out and it still took forever...

Hey since you both have had your clutch and flywheel replaced. Just wondering about how much did it cost you. I have a new clutch and flywheel I need to have put in my car and since I should be getting my income taxes back soon I am planning on having that done. I was just wondering what I should be expecting as far as the cost goes.

I had mine put in by my neighborhood friendly shop. He just charges me by the hour and he said it would take about 6 to 7 hours to get it done. The total bill was right at $385.00 to have both installed. It ended up taking them a day and a half to get it done but he didn't charge me anything extra. Who ever you have do it make sure they know about Mitsubishi Eclipses because some of the things are reversed and it can be tricky getting things back together. Let me know if this helps!
