Speakers

How many speakers does the 89 civic hatchback have? i know i have 2 because I have the front 2 hooked up. It has the wires for the back ones but i cant find the back speakers anywhere!! Somebody help me i need more then just 2 speakers playing my music and shaking my mirrors! Thanks!

Not to be an asshat, but you should probably fix that short that's killing your lights first before adding more speakers.

well who knows turtle mabey the lads got it done' but then again mabey not but either way can a dude not work on a few things at once...but no offence turtle,.....but enyways if you got a dx...then no i had the same problem wen i first got my dx stock they dont come with back speakers so I jus took the 2 back side panels off liek were u put your arm on each side...and i cut some 6" holes for my component woofers and smaller holes for my tweeters and mid-range It looked amazing but I saw in one of my buddies dx he jus took his back ...i don't know wut there called but there in the backk by the hatch at each side and it holds your trunk cover but he cut holes to fit his speakers but it all depends if they'll fit soo jus kinda do wut ya' gotta do to secure them in there in a good place....an wut happend with those loose wires behind your stereo enyways??? good luck

you can see in the pics how rear speakers are suppose to be mounted. sorry my trunk is kinda cluttered LOL. You can see the speaker in the right hand side next to the cargo cover.

lol i forgot to say i dont have that part right there. I dont have a back seat or the cargo cover thingy. Becuase the way i bought it my buddy took the back seat out of the car so i have to rig something up for it to mount right.

yeah, you're going to need the trays to mount them correctly.

and they are 6 1/2 rounds i believe.

ya ya thats how my buddies speakers were set but he had to cut that shiat out.!! it still looks pro though haha oh well good luck with all that guy an let us all no how she goes!
