Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero problems

well quite complated game!!!But thats good right????Well the 13Devils are pretty fast and hard to beat!So thats complated part.
I beat 2 13Devils on the first level.Then I beat 4 of the 13Devils on the second level then im stuck!!!What do I have to after that????:confused:

This is a common problem. First, do you save your game after you beat like 2 or 3 people? If so, the problem comes when you beat members of one group and not all of them. The 13Devils members come out after you beat two rival groups. So for example, if you beat 2 teams completely, 1 or 2 Devils come out. For every 2 teams that you defeat completely, a Devil or two will show up and challenge you. Once you defeat the Leader of the Devils, Speed King, you will get challenged by a new rival gang called the Zodiacs. These guys are even harder than the devils. Now, there is also a situation with the wanderers that are also in the mix. You have to beat a certain number of them to release other things in the game. However, certain wanderers will only accept your challenge if you meet a certain criteria. It's a skyline. A very fast one at that. I bought it and put engine mod #7 on it. 263mph easily!:D

I haven't played that game yet but my boy told me him and his girl are in it!! He said there's something like an HKS team you have to beat. My friend said they gave him a skyline and the license plate is JMZLOUS or something like that. And in the description, he said it says something about him giving people rides in his skyline! Also, I guess his girl is in there too, I forgot what car/name they gave her but in the description I think it says something about her liking ice-cream. Can someone post a pic or something of their cars or tell me any more info?? Thanks.

It's a pretty good game. Not to the level of detail like GT3, but close to it. Has definite replay value and you will get hooked on it.

great game. I already beat it once, now imgoin through trying to find all the wanderers and beat it with different cars.

I have Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 for Dreamcast, and after playing it non stop for three weeks, I beat it with a fully hooked up RX-7.

Uhhh, how do you get it to 263, mine tops out at 252, I have all the lightest body parts... but I dont have the level 8 muffler.... do you? Do you all know how you get the last muffler? Thx. I also thought it was a good game... Im not totally done with it, I have about 6 more wanderers and the last zodiac.. the one that doesnt have a name and is in its own class.

I played this game for the 1st time last night on ps2. the intro was cool with the r34 & the NA1. the dvd extra about the tokyo wangan was cool, but they made some of the guys sound like idiots, and they left out a few things that they really said. The game looked good and the modification aspect is really good and I think that if gta3 had such a thing, it would be the ultamite racing game. When I played the game I drove a r34 & a FD and they handled like crap. I'm not sure if it was becuase i was using demo cars or what, why the handing really sucked. With all the mods, do the cars handle really good??

yeah your own tuned cars are better then the demo cars, but the one thing i hate is that im at the point where there is like 5 or 6 more enemies to race against, and i hate trying to get them to race me. this game is too easy.

you cant see them, which is just poor game qaulity if you ask me, if you are just blazing around, eventually you will hear a siren go off, but nothing chases you or stops you, when you leave the race, you get the ticket.

Where is everybody I have only 1 person to race against that I haven't beat yet,so where is everybody.:confused:

o yeah and the game was a blast...cant wait for the next one to come out...and there is going to be one!!!

I just bought this game a week ago, and have been hooked on it ever since. It is definately one of the best racing games.

Im not quite as good as all you guys, nor have I gotten as far, but I thought maybe you could help me with a problem. I just bought the dodge viper, and I've raced enought to get a stage 5 engine, and stage 5 exhaust, full race transmission, all the lightest body parts, but I top out at about 202. Can anyone suggest a good gear ratio/ final drive for this hp level?

I've got a helpful hint...get a different car....

an update have everything possible you can buy at this time and have moved through to the second part of the game. I have about 3,400,000 dollars but I am still doing well with the viper, so I dont want to spend any money on another car, just in case I am offered more engine stages later. I am now at 810 hp and 3052lbs, and even though the rear wheel drive is a little unstable, I like the drifting aspect of the vehicle. Top speed is 245. What other cars might you guys suggest, maybe speed kings skyline, or an nsx or supra or something. Like I said I am doing really well with the viper as it is, and I think I can get it up to 1000+ hp.

i dont remember what stage you can get up to but i do remember that the skyline with the decals will get a level higher than ANY other car out there they will be in the engine, exhaust, and one other...

the fastest car you can get in the game is the white RX-7 with the tri-rotor engine, mine has over 1100HP and tops out at 263MPH.


but keep working that viper, i have mine upto about 1100HP as well.

Having finished this game about 5 times, this is my order of the best cars to have:

The final boss's Datsun. So fast that you can't really drive it in the curvy section of the tracks.

The Speed King's skyline.

I forget the name of the other skyline that looks sort of demonic.

Then the white rx-7.

All of these can reach 263. I can give you my gear ratios and car setups if you'd like.

if you really wanted to, you can get any car to top out at 263.

i got fed up trying to figure out which racer needs which requirments to race so in my game the RX-7 is the best.

which r34 can u get up to 263 in?? the gt or the rvm one?

i think i have the rvm one, and i got it to top at 263 also.

to get to 263 all you really need to modify is the final drive gear, but if you want its completely tuned, you'll have to modify other settings.

I used the final Datsun at the 400m and got a 6 second time slip :frog:

If you get over 1860 miles on the ODO you should get more parts.
the highest engine is stage 6 or 7, and the highest muffler is stage 7 or 8, I cant really remember. I have this game and have the porsche which is the car i use the most. It has very good acceleration and handling. I have almost finished the game, and only have a few Wanderers and #400 to go.

Little piece of advice for you then, make sure that when you get to the second to last wanderer, the next part of the track is all curves. The final boss is a datsun that really hauls ass and if have all straightaways ahead, you're not going to beat him.;)
