hey how come s2000s are so pricey? seeing that it has a WAY smaller engine than 350z. and they are the same price.

the s2000 motor isnt just a regular motor...your talking about the motor that in stock form has the highest hp/liter in the world (or so ive heard but if not its definitely one of the highest)...engine size isnt what matters the motor is very technical...and everything else the car has to offer is expensive too...brakes, tires, body, interior, suspension, etc...notice that its all VERY nice...

so when you compare the s2000 with the 350z, s2000 is a better made and quality car than the z?

^ I would say that the S2000 and the 350Z are about equal on the quality level.

The S2000 is more of a drivers car (better handling, better feel ect.). The 350Z is more of a grunt. It has more tourque than the S, so it's easier to cruise around town without having to rev over 3K. But most S2000 owners enjoying have to work for it's power, including myself. It really depends on what you are looking for.

It seems to beat the Boxster, Z4, and even the SLK 350 all of which cost a lot more then the S2000. So, no, it's not overpriced.

simply put it cost that much because of the technology. in the 2000 model s2000 it has the f20c up utill 2004? someone correct me when they changed the engine. the f20c can rev to 9 grand. that in its self is quite impressive to make a engine stock engine scream to 9 grand and have the reliability of a honda. the new engines are 2.2l witch means the rpm limit dropped in favor of more tourqe. as far as with one is better the 350z or the s2000 it comes down to do you want a v6 that does not rev high but makes more power lower end? or a 9k screamer? to say either is better is kinna pointless. i personaly love the s2000's but i would only build one to the track and balence it to 11 or 12 grand. 9 grand is something for the track so the power band is useless for the street unless you want a ticket for trying. the s2000 is a track car plain and simple. just my opinion
