my oil and water temp gauges are crazy or better yet the oil does w.e it wants when i accelerate it marks hottor when i brake it goes down all the way. The water is just dead all the time. Do i neeed to replace gauges or is there something giving a wrong signal? If i have to replace them how har is it has anyone done this before.

hmm, while we are on the topic of gauges, I got a 94 formula as well, and my gas gauge sticks, I fill the tank it goes all past full, then it stays there until there is less then a quarter of a tank and goes to half... any ideas on how to fix this?

well one thing you could do involves where you wouldn't have to take them out... my suggestion if it is just bad gauges go to jegs or some other store and buy the cluster of volts, water, and oil... they are fairly cheap... but on your oil gauge going crazy it sounds like it could be shorted out somewhere...

nicholas it sounds like you may need to replace the sending unit... that would be my first test... and then if you find nothing wrong with the sending unit... it could be that your actual gauge is sticky...

I know on the LS1 cars the temp sender is no good. Just a dummy gauge.
I had HPTuners plugged in and the car was running 180 degrees and the gauge showed me 210. So I have an aftermarket one going in.

Oil temp? Or pressure?
