3rd gen 12 bolt swap

I might be buying an 83 Firebird soon, with a swapped-in 350, 5spd, and 10-bolt posi. The car has a lot of power and has trouble keeping traction. If I buy it, I'd like to swap some stickier tires on it, but I don't want to grenade the rear end.
What cars would be ideal donors for a 12 bolt posi, or, alternately, is there a way to beef up the 10 bolt so I don't blow it up?

My ten bolt has held up fine with 320+ RWHP and DR's.
Although I plan on killing it soon. :lol:
