I was told today that the cam from my 7mgte would work on my 1ggte,and would give more power is this true? Is there any way I can get about 250 ponies from the 1ggte without upgrading to the to4 or to5 for right now? I putting on a bigger intercooler,2.5 inch exhaust without a cat,adjustable bov,manual boost controller and I was told to get adjustable cam gears.Will this things give the 250 taht I want for now if not tell me what I need to do?

If you are going to run a boost controller then you will need a piggy back fuel computer, and an afr monitor so you don't lean out your motor and blow it. Adjustable cam gears require dyno time to tune. They are not a bolt on and go mod.

Where did your "friend" get this idea of using 7MGTE cams in a 1GGTE? I don't see how they are a match.

Agreed, tell this person to shut it and stop telling you these things.:rofl: Your list needs work though, if you want the most from your exhaust you want atleast 85mm from the Y-pipe back, as well as the same size aftermarket down pipe. There are few 1GG's in the country and very few that are done RIGHT, don't cheap out, save your money and do it right the first time. Slow down, read and do research now and when you are well informed then get ready to mod. T05 turbo?
